Portions of this show were televised on 12-13-70 for a PBS special titled "San Francisco Rock: A Night At The Family Dog". Jefferson Airplane and Santana were also present. Hard To Handle & China->Rider were the only songs broadcast from the Dead's set. Deadbase indicates that Cold Rain & Snow, Black Peter, and Me & My Uncle were also played in the Dead's set.

even though this recording is only about 30 minutes long, it may be one of the best half hours of the dead ever.

This is not DP Vol. 4 and/or Bear's Choice!!!!!!!!!!!
Why the HECK did someone put the smack-down on this show when it CLEARLY has not been commercially released as DP Vol. 4 and/or Bear's Choice???? This makes me very, VERY angry!...
Oh, this is Download Vol. 08. Still, this is not - I repeat: NOT - DP Vol. 4 and/or Bear's Choice. This discrepancy has essentially ruined the flow of my morning. I am going to get a cup of hot coffee now to hopefully iron things out here.
Ah, I see the commercial release reference has been adjusted per my review - and rather promptly, I might add. It appears folk who run this site are more on top of their game than I initially thought and/or alluded to. My sincere apologies. Thanks for the update.
